주일 영어 예배 기도문 ( Sunday worship prayers in English 2 )

Offering Prayer (헌금기도문)

Heavenly Father, we live in a world of obligations. Everything has a price.

Because of this we find it hard to understand Your grace.

You have given Your grace to us freely, with no strings attached.

Accept these offerings as a graec-filled response to Your free gift of new life in Christ.

We thank You for this opportunity to give to You.

We also thank You for those who have an offering to give today as well as those who

have a desire to give, but are unable to at the moment.

We pray for Your blessing on each of us.

Offering Prayer (헌금기도문)

Father, we tend to hold on too tightly to our possessions.

Forgive us. The harder we hold on, the more difficult it is to step out in faith and

to be drawn nearer to Your Kingdom.

We belong to You and everything on earth, including these offerings, belong to You.

Help us to do Your will by becoming true caretakers of Your trust.

May our lives reflect Your glory. May our hearts be filled with faith.

Thank you for what You have given today and for what You have promised to provide tomorrow.

Prayer for Holy week

Lord Jesus You died on the cross, suffering pain and humiliation, for my sins.

I cannot describe how great Your love and grace are.

Thank You for Your unending love.

Lord, cleanse me with the blood You shed on the cross, and help me to participate in

Your suffering, so that I can be Your true disciple.

Help me to deny myself and take up my cross and follow You.

Grant me strength in my faith, so that I can joyfully and thankfully suffer for You,

and help me to be reborn by the power of these cross.

Easter Prayer (부활절기도문)

Heavenly Father God, thank you for sending Your Son to earth so many years ago.

Thank You that, by dying on the cross He paid the punishment for our sins.

By raising Jesus Christ, You conquered the power of death and showed us the way to eternal life.

By the power of the resurrection, renew our lives and help us to become new creations.

Guide us through the dark times of our lives, and gives us courage to live for You.

Thanks giving Day Prayer (감사절 기도문)

Heavenly Father, You are the beginning and the end of all things, and we give You honor and glory.

We offer You our deepest thanks for all You have done for us.

You have always watached over us, protected us from the evil spirits, and poured

blessing and blessing on our lives.

Let us always approach our Heavenly Father with true thankfulness, not just today, but every day,

not only in our triumphs, but also in our trials.

Help us to remain in You so that we may have a fruitful life.

Today we praise You with a promise to follow You all of our days.

We are praying in the name of Jesus, Amen.

주일 영어 예배 기도문( Sunday worship prayers in English )

Sunday Prayer (주일예배 기도문)

Heavenly Father, let us come before You with our prayer and confession.

We confess, before You, Holy God, that we have sinned often and

in manifold ways by thoughts, words, and deeds.

The closer we come, the more aware we become of how far away we are from You and

Your Holiness because of our sinfulness.

Look on us in mercy, and forgive us the sins we have committed.

By the power of the Holy Spirit, lead us not into temptation and deliver us form the evil one.

Please help us desire You and Your Holiness with all our hearts and all our minds

and all our strength so that we can be holy in Your eyes.

Sunday Prayer (주일 예배기도문)

Almighty God, who pours out the spirit of grace on all those who desire it,

deliver us, when we draw near to You, form coldness of heart and wanderings of mind,

that we may worship You in spirit and in truth with all our hears, and through Jesus Christ

our Lord.

Loving God, who has promised to hear the petitions of those who ask in Christ's name,

we ask You to incline You ear to us who have now given our prayers and supplications to You,

and grant us those things which we have faithfully asked according to You will.

Thank You for hearing our prayers and blessing us.

Sunday Prayer (주일 예배기도문)

God our Father, we, Your youth are growing up in an unsteady and confusing world.

Help us to realize that Your ways give us more joy and peace than the ways of the world,

and that following You is better than chasing after selfish goals.

Give us a will and heart to be all You created to be, and give us strength and wisdom

to maintain our faith in You.

Following the example of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, may we learn to love

whatever is just and true and good, and thus we become true followers of Jesus Christ.

Worship prayer (예배기도문)

Heavenly Father God, we give You praise and glory.

Thank You for calling us to be Your holy people and for choosing us to give You glory.

Cleanse our hearts and our lives with Your holy word, and make our prayer pleasing You.

Remain in our hearts so that our light may shine before others,

and hel us to lead them to Jesus Christ who is the way, the truth, and the life.

Guide us by Your Spirit as we follow Jesus.

You are good God. We love you with all our hearts, and with all our souls, and

with all our minds, in the name of Jesus, we pray, Amen.

Offering Prayer (헌금기도문)

Gracious God, we seek to be faithful to You. But only through Your power, can we be.

Lead us to a greater faith.

May these offerings be a first steps in that direction.

Our offering is an act of trust in You.

Bless it, that it may be used to benefit Your kingdom.

We pray for Your direction and guidance for its use.

Thank You for giving first, forgiving first, and living in us, that we might become givers,

and forgivers, and not just takers.

Transformation in Jesus

I confess that You are my Lord and Savior.

In the past, I didn't sincerely seek You. Also, I have lived my life with a conceited mind,

thinking that I can do everything on my own, and trying to achieve worldly happiness.

I realized that I could never have true joy and peace in this world without You.

Lord, I want to be born again in Jesus Christ. I learned through Your Word that I could be

a new creation in You, the old has gone and the new has come.

I want to be changed and I pray those changes will begin today. I know that, by the

transforming power of Your Holy Spirit, all things are possible.

Almighty God,

We are often jaded in today's world and tend to think that all politicians are dishonest and chaters .

But that is usually not the case. There are many politicians who are truly love their communites and try

their best to help those in need. We pray today for our politicians. Help them to use their power justly.

Guide them in their decisios, even if they aren't asking for Your help. We are asking in their stead.

in the name of Jesus , Amen.

Christian Prayer

Christian Prayer: A Scriptural Model

A model for Christian prayer is found in the Gospel of Matthew. Jesus Christ himself gave all of us a pattern for prayer:

"After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For Thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever. Amen" (Matthew 6:9-13, KJV).

Christian Prayer: An Interpretation For All Of Us

The model for Christian prayer in Matthew 6 is known as the Lord's Prayer. Many of us have recited this prayer for years, but have never truly meditated on its meaning. The following are spiritual snippets based on the Lord's Prayer that can help deepen your prayer life with God:

"Our Father" - God wants us to approach Him as "Daddy" (Aramaic: Abba). He wants to take care of us and protect us. God desires intimacy. Remember, He has infinite love and grace. God wants us to be secure in His family as adopted children and heirs.

"Which Art in Heaven" -- Look up to God. Fear Him and revere Him. He is all-powerful and can deal with all our problems, even the big ones. But He loves us so much that He doesn't stay up there.

"Hallowed be Thy Name" -- Holy, holy, holy. Approach God with awe and wonder. Save the word "awesome" for God. Live a life that honors Him.

"Thy Kingdom Come" - "Take this job and love it!" Working on behalf of God's kingdom is the ultimate joy. Bloom where you're planted. Do everything as unto the Lord. Find your gifts and use them. Be open to God's leading each day.

"Thy Will Be Done" - God is the potter; we are the clay. God keeps us spinning on His potter's wheel, shaping and reshaping us as He bathes our lives in tears to make us more Christ-like so He can use us for His will. Surrender daily. Keep your clay moist through daily prayer.

"On Earth as it is in Heaven" -- Thy will be done - not my will be done!

"Give Us This Day Our Daily Bread" - Trust! God will provide for our needs. His eye is on the sparrow and I know He cares for me.

"Forgive Us Our Debts as We Forgive Our Debtors" -- Forgiveness = Surrender. Don't carry your own backpack - surrender it to Him. Revealing the feeling is the beginning of healing. Act as if you have forgiven and the feeling will follow. In our weakness, God sends His strength and peace.

"Lead Us Not Into Temptation" - Watch for unrecognized temptation. Pray, so you won't fall. We are tempted every day. It deepens our walk and strengthens our faith - but be careful of spiritual blindness. Open my eyes, Lord, to my blind spots - use honest friends and family.

"Deliver Us From Evil" -- The Evil One, Satan. We are saved from death to life. Jesus is more powerful than Satan - God is greater!

"For Thine Is the Kingdom (obedience), and the Power (confidence) and the Glory (joy), Forever" -- This is our Father's world. Everything we have is His. He is the ruler!

Grow More Now

WHAT DO YOU THINK? - We have all sinned and deserve God's judgment. God, the Father, sent His only Son to satisfy that judgment for those who believe in Him. Jesus, the creator and eternal Son of God, who lived a sinless life, loves us so much that He died for our sins, taking the punishment that we deserve, was buried, and rose from the dead according to the Bible. If you truly believe and trust this in your heart, receiving Jesus alone as your Savior, declaring, "Jesus is Lord," you will be saved from judgment and spend eternity with God in heaven.

Prayer for Lent

Dear Lord, we are now in the holy season of Lent.

We begin to realize anew that these are the days of salvation, these are the acceptable days.

We know that we are all sinners.

We know that in many things we have all offended Your infinite majesty.

We know that sin destroys Your life in us as a drought withers the leaves and chokes the life from the land, leaving an arid, dusty desert. Help us now, Lord, in our feeble attempts to make up for past sin. Bless our efforts with the rich blessing of Your grace.

Make us realize ever more our need of penance and of mortification. Help us to see, in our ordinary difficulties and duties, in the trials and temptations of every day, the best opportunity of making up for past infidelities.

Every day we are so often reminded in field and wood, in sky and stream, of Your own boundless generosity to us.

Help us to realize that You are never outdone in generosity, and that the least thing we do for You will be rewarded, full measure, pressed down, shaken together, and flowing over.

Then we shall see, in our own souls, how the desert can blossom, and the dry and wasted land can bring forth the rich, useful fruit that was expected of it from the beginning.

Amen.

The Fifth Week of Lent

Holy Week
Sunday

Loving God,
I am just beginning to realize how much you love me.
Your son, Jesus was humble and obedient.
He fulfilled your will for him by becoming human and suffering with us.
I ask you for the desire to become more humble
so that my own life might also bear witness to you.
I want to use the small sufferings I have in this world
to give you glory.

Please, Lord, guide my mind with your truth.
Strengthen my life by the example of Jesus.
Help me to be with Jesus in this week
as he demonstrates again his total love for me.
He died so that I would no longer
be separated from you.
Help me to feel how close you are
and to live in union with you.

Holy Week
Monday

God of love,
My prayer is simple:
Your son, Jesus, suffered and died for me.
I know only
that I cannot have real strength
unless I rely on you.
I cannot feel protected
from my many weaknesses
until I turn to you
for forgiveness and your unalterable love.
Help me to share this
strength, protection and love with others.

Holy Week
Tuesday

God of such unwavering love,
how do I "celebrate"
the passion and death of Jesus?
I often want to look the other way
and not watch,
not stay with Jesus in his suffering.
Give me the strength
to see his love with honesty and compassion
and to feel deeply
your own forgiveness and mercy for me.
Help me to understand
how to "celebrate" this week.
I want be able to bring
my weaknesses and imperfections with me
as I journey with Jesus this week,
so aware of his love.

Holy Week
Wednesday

My savior,
do you invite me to share
in the glory of the resurrection?
Please stay with me
as I struggle to see
how accepting the crosses of my life
will free me from the power
of the one who wants only
to destroy my love and trust in you.
Help me to be humble and accepting
like your son, Jesus.
I want to turn to you
with the same trust he had in your love.
Save me, Lord. Only you can save me.

Holy Week
Thursday

Loving Provider,
you gather me in this upper room with your son,
to be fed by your love.
At that supper, Jesus told us to "love one another"
and I know that is the heart of his gift,
his sacrifice for me.
I ask that I might find the source of my own heart,
the meaning for my own life,
in that Eucharist.
Guide me to the fullness of your love and life.

Holy Week
Friday

My Lord,
your son has suffered so much, shed so much blood.
I was born with so many faults
and my nature is so full of weakness,
and yet your son Jesus has died on the cross.
For me.
I know your grace has the power
to cleanse me of my many sins
and to make me more like your Son.
Thank you for your goodness and love for me.
I ask you, Father, to watch over me - always.

The Fifth Week of Lent
Saturday

Loving God,
Your eternal watchfulness keeps me safe from harm.
I am filled with a great happiness
when I feel your endless love for me.
Thank you for your care for me, one of your children.
I ask you to protect from harm
those who will soon be your children,
joined in the joy of your church.
Please continue to pour out your blessings
on all of us who have been given
the lifegiving waters of baptism.

Joel 2:1-2, 12-17
2:1 Blow the trumpet in Zion; sound the alarm on my holy mountain! Let all the inhabitants of the land tremble, for the day of the LORD is coming, it is near-

2:2 a day of darkness and gloom, a day of clouds and thick darkness! Like blackness spread upon the mountains a great and powerful army comes; their like has never been from of old, nor will be again after them in ages to come.

 2:12 Yet even now, says the LORD, return to me with all your heart, with fasting, with weeping, and with mourning;

2:13 rend your hearts and not your clothing. Return to the LORD, your God, for he is gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and abounding in steadfast love, and relents from punishing.

2:14 Who knows whether he will not turn and relent, and leave a blessing behind him, a grain offering and a drink offering for the LORD, your God?

 2:15 Blow the trumpet in Zion; sanctify a fast; call a solemn assembly;

2:16 gather the people. Sanctify the congregation; assemble the aged; gather the children, even infants at the breast. Let the bridegroom leave his room, and the bride her canopy.

2:17 Between the vestibule and the altar let the priests, the ministers of the LORD, weep. Let them say, "Spare your people, O LORD, and do not make your heritage a mockery, a byword among the nations. Why should it be said among the peoples, 'Where is their God?'"

Isaiah 58:1-12
58:1 Shout out, do not hold back! Lift up your voice like a trumpet! Announce to my people their rebellion, to the house of Jacob their sins.

58:2 Yet day after day they seek me and delight to know my ways, as if they were a nation that practiced righteousness and did not forsake the ordinance of their God; they ask of me righteous judgments, they delight to draw near to God.

58:3 "Why do we fast, but you do not see? Why humble ourselves, but you do not notice?" Look, you serve your own interest on your fast day, and oppress all your workers.

58:4 Look, you fast only to quarrel and to fight and to strike with a wicked fist. Such fasting as you do today will not make your voice heard on high.

58:5 Is such the fast that I choose, a day to humble oneself? Is it to bow down the head like a bulrush, and to lie in sackcloth and ashes? Will you call this a fast, a day acceptable to the LORD?

58:6 Is not this the fast that I choose: to loose the bonds of injustice, to undo the thongs of the yoke, to let the oppressed go free, and to break every yoke?

58:7 Is it not to share your bread with the hungry, and bring the homeless poor into your house; when you see the naked, to cover them, and not to hide yourself from your own kin?

58:8 Then your light shall break forth like the dawn, and your healing shall spring up quickly; your vindicator shall go before you, the glory of the LORD shall be your rear guard.

58:9 Then you shall call, and the LORD will answer; you shall cry for help, and he will say, Here I am. If you remove the yoke from among you, the pointing of the finger, the speaking of evil,

58:10 if you offer your food to the hungry and satisfy the needs of the afflicted, then your light shall rise in the darkness and your gloom be like the noonday.

58:11 The LORD will guide you continually, and satisfy your needs in parched places, and make your bones strong; and you shall be like a watered garden, like a spring of water, whose waters never fail.

58:12 Your ancient ruins shall be rebuilt; you shall raise up the foundations of many generations; you shall be called the repairer of the breach, the restorer of streets to live in.

Psalm 51:1-17
51:1 Have mercy on me, O God, according to your steadfast love; according to your abundant mercy blot out my transgressions.

51:2 Wash me thoroughly from my iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin.

51:3 For I know my transgressions, and my sin is ever before me.

51:4 Against you, you alone, have I sinned, and done what is evil in your sight, so that you are justified in your sentence and blameless when you pass judgment.

51:5 Indeed, I was born guilty, a sinner when my mother conceived me.

51:6 You desire truth in the inward being; therefore teach me wisdom in my secret heart.

51:7 Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean; wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow.

51:8 Let me hear joy and gladness; let the bones that you have crushed rejoice.

51:9 Hide your face from my sins, and blot out all my iniquities.

51:10 Create in me a clean heart, O God, and put a new and right spirit within me.

51:11 Do not cast me away from your presence, and do not take your holy spirit from me.

51:12 Restore to me the joy of your salvation, and sustain in me a willing spirit.

51:13 Then I will teach transgressors your ways, and sinners will return to you.

51:14 Deliver me from bloodshed, O God, O God of my salvation, and my tongue will sing aloud of your deliverance.

51:15 O Lord, open my lips, and my mouth will declare your praise.

51:16 For you have no delight in sacrifice; if I were to give a burnt offering, you would not be pleased.

51:17 The sacrifice acceptable to God is a broken spirit; a broken and contrite heart, O God, you will not despise.

2 Corinthians 5:20b-6:10
5:20b We entreat you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God.

5:21 For our sake he made him to be sin who knew no sin, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.

6:1 As we work together with him, we urge you also not to accept the grace of God in vain.

6:2 For he says, "At an acceptable time I have listened to you, and on a day of salvation I have helped you." See, now is the acceptable time; see, now is the day of salvation!

6:3 We are putting no obstacle in anyone's way, so that no fault may be found with our ministry,

6:4 but as servants of God we have commended ourselves in every way: through great endurance, in afflictions, hardships, calamities,

 6:5 beatings, imprisonments, riots, labors, sleepless nights, hunger;

6:6 by purity, knowledge, patience, kindness, holiness of spirit, genuine love,

 6:7 truthful speech, and the power of God; with the weapons of righteousness for the right hand and for the left;

 6:8 in honor and dishonor, in ill repute and good repute. We are treated as impostors, and yet are true;

 6:9 as unknown, and yet are well known; as dying, and see--we are alive; as punished, and yet not killed;

6:10 as sorrowful, yet always rejoicing; as poor, yet making many rich; as having nothing, and yet possessing everything.

Matthew 6:1-6, 16-21
6:1 "Beware of practicing your piety before others in order to be seen by them; for then you have no reward from your Father in heaven.

6:2 "So whenever you give alms, do not sound a trumpet before you, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, so that they may be praised by others. Truly I tell you, they have received their reward.

6:3 But when you give alms, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing,

6:4 so that your alms may be done in secret; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you.

6:5 "And whenever you pray, do not be like the hypocrites; for they love to stand and pray in the synagogues and at the street corners, so that they may be seen by others. Truly I tell you, they have received their reward.

6:6 But whenever you pray, go into your room and shut the door and pray to your Father who is in secret; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you.

6:16 "And whenever you fast, do not look dismal, like the hypocrites, for they disfigure their faces so as to show others that they are fasting. Truly I tell you, they have received their reward.

6:17 But when you fast, put oil on your head and wash your face,

6:18 so that your fasting may be seen not by others but by your Father who is in secret; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you.

 6:19 "Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust consume and where thieves break in and steal;

6:20 but store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust consumes and where thieves do not break in and steal.

6:21 For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.

Prayers for Easter Sunday

Prayers for Easter Sunday

Christ our Lord, who in his love for us died for us that we might live,

we pray for all people in all places and in all kinds of need. Christ is risen!

He is risen indeed, alleluia!

Lord our Father, we pray for all people who make up the church, both leaders and congregations.

We pray for unity among all people of faith throughout the world

that they may respect one another and celebrate what they have in common. Christ is risen!

He is risen indeed, alleluia!

Risen Lord, we pray for people who are suffering as a result of all kinds of disaster,

whose lives have been torn apart by the earthquake,

and who have lost relatives, friends, their homes, their town and their livelihoods.

May the risen Christ lead them from despair into hope. Christ is risen!

He is risen indeed, alleluia!

Lord of love, we pray for all who suffer in mind or body and for those who care for them.

We pray for the sick; for those who mourn; for those without faith, hope or love.

We pray for any known to us who are in special need of our prayers at this time, especially those known personally to us.

We remember them now in a moment of silence …. Christ is risen!

He is risen indeed, alleluia!

The risen Christ is the light of the world, a light which no darkness can quench.

We remember before God those who have died and light a candle to symbolise the light of Christ,

which eternally shines and brings hope.

We remember You turn our darkness into light: in your light shall we see light.

Merciful Father, accept these prayers for the sake of your Son, our Saviour Jesus Christ. Amen.

Birthday Prayer

A Birthday Prayer for someone in your life:

Dear Lord, on this day that we celebrate “insert name”'s birth,

I pray for blessings and joy over “insert name”.

You knew everything about “insert name” before her birth

and You have a plan of prosperity and hope for her life!

Let her feel confident and ready for the year ahead knowing

that You have an order to her steps and a purpose for her life.

Help her to find joy in every circumstance in life,

knowing that You work all things out for good.

I thank You for “insert name”, for loving her with unconditional love,

and for the promises You have spoken over her life.

In Jesus Name, Amen.

Prayer before meals

Our Father in Heaven, thank You for providing this meal and bringing together in Your love.

May this food nourish our souls as well as our bodies.

We pray for health and strength in order to live in the way You desire.

May we never forget those who struggle to find the nourishment needed to sustain them.

We ask that Your blessing be especially upon them today.

May all of us gathered here today find Your peace and joy within our hearts that come

from You.

1)

five short prayers for use at meal times)

God is great, and God is good, And we thank him for our food; By his hand we all are fed; Give us, Lord, our daily bread.

God, we thank you for this food. For rest and home and all things good. For wind and rain and sun above. But most of all for those we love.

O Lord, we thank you for the gifts of your bounty which we enjoy at this table. As you have provided for us in the past, so may you sustain us throughout our lives. While we enjoy your gifts, may we never forget the needy and those in want.

Bless us, O Lord, and these your gifts, which we are about to receive from your bounty. Through Christ our Lord. Amen.

Bless this food to our use, and us to thy service. Fill our hearts with grateful praise. Amen.

2)

A blessing before our meal.

Blessed are you, God of all creation, whose very life permeates our world, and whose goodness fills our hearts with joy.

Blessed are you, who have brought us together as friends and colleagues.

Be present to us; continue to work in us the wonder of your grace, forming us as your people committed to justice and mercy, healing and compassion, in a world burdened by violence, injustice, and indifference.

Pour forth your blessing on us, renew and refresh us for our mission, making us effective leaders and wise stewards of your bountiful gifts.

Bless this food we are about to share, a sign of your goodness to us, bless those who prepared it, and who serve it, and keep us ever mindful of those who go hungry this night.

May our meal and our celebration nourish our bodies and strengthen the bonds that unite us in love and faithful service.

We ask this through Christ Jesus, Amen.

A blessing before our meal.

Lord, as we gather here before this table, we pause to give thanks for the bounty of the earth from which this meal came forth. Create in us a new spirit, that we may bear fruit for others and so share our life with the world. By that same power create human society anew, with justice as its measurement and compassion for a cornerstone, through Christ our Lord. Amen.

In English -For Preparation before going to a Mission area abroad.

Heavenly God,

How precious is Your name. Our community is called to go out

Into the world. So, our church is going to another country to

Spread Your love. Our first need is prayer as we put everything

together for the trip. We have to make plans for money, for the people,

and for the work we are going to do. But before considering all of

those things, we need to pray that everything is done in Your will

and in Your way, God. We pray in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Prayer For The Mission

Heavenly Father, thank You so much for giving us the Church, the body of Jesus Christ.

We pray that You will pour out Your Spirit in our hearts, so that the work of the church

may be done in Your power.

May our church bring spiritual restoration and revival to the people, the nation, and

the whole world.

May we also raise up spirit-filled leaders at our church and send out those leaders

to spread the gospel to the ends of the world.

We pray for the strength of our pastor in spirit and body. May everyone come to know

the grace and love of Jesus, when he preaches Your word.

- Serenity Prayer

God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I can change,

courage to change the things I can, and wisdom to know the difference

living on day at a time; enjoying one moment at a time, accepting hardships as a pathway to peace,

taking, as Jesus did, this sinful world as it is, not as I would have it,

trusting that You will make all thing right, if I surrender to You will,

so that I may be reasonably happy in this life and supremely happy with You forever in the next.

The Prayer of Saint Francis

Lord, make me a instrument of your peace;

where there is hatred, let me sow love;

where there is injury, pardon; where there is doubt, faith;

where there is despair, hope; where there darkness, light;

and where there is sadness, joy.

Divine Master, grant that I may not so much seek to be consoled as to console;

to be understood, as to understand; to be loved, as to love;

For it is in giving that we receive; it is in pardoning taht we are pardoned;

and it is in dying that we are born to Eternal Life. Amen
