1. 내 진정 사모하는 친구가 되시는
   I have found a friend in Jesus, He's ev'rything to me,
   구주 예수님은 아름다워라
   He's the fairest of ten thousand to my soul
   산 밑에 백합화요 빛나는 새벽 별
   The Lily of the Valley, in Him alone I see
   주님 형언할 길 아주 없도다
   All I need to cleanse and make me fully whole.
   내 맘이 아플 적에 큰 위로되시며
   In sorrow He's my comfort in trouble He's my stay,
   나 외로울 때 좋은 친구라
   He tells me ev'ry care on Him to roll.
   주는 저 산 밑에 백합 빛나는 새벽 별
   He's the Lily of the Valley, the bright and Morning Star,
   이 땅 위에 비길 것이 없도다
   He's the fairest of ten thousand to my soul.

2. 내 몸의 모든 염려 이 세상 고락간
   He all my grief has taken, and all my sorrows borne
   나와 항상 같이 하여주시고
   In temptation He's my strong and mighty tow'r
   시험을 당할 때에 악마의 계교를
   I have all for Him forsaken, and all my idols torn
   즉시 물리치사 날 지키시네
   From my heart, and now He keeps my by His pow'r.
   온 세상 날 버려도 주 예수 안버려
   Though all the world forsake me, and Satan tempts me sore,
   끝까지 나를 돌아보시니
   Through Jesus I shall safely reach the goal

3. 내 맘을 다하여서 주님을 따르면
   He will never, never leave me, nor yet forsake me here,

   While I live by faith and do His blessed will
   물불이 두렵잖고 창검이 겁 없네
   A wall of fire about me, I've nothing now to fear,
   주는 높은 산성 내 방패시라
   With His manna He my hungry soul shall fill.
   내 영혼 먹이시는 그 은혜 누리고
